The organization was underserved by its previous website. The site had a lot of information and pages but was unwieldy and not easily used by either the visitor or the organization. Maintenance and updates were a struggle and the site was not mobile friendly. After an extensive set of meetings with the team, detailed wireframes were completed to ensure that each area of activity and service was well served. Students could register for classes and workshops, people could browse and arrange for musicians to play at their events, Concerts and outdoor event tickets were easy to obtain, travel events were well promoted and visitors could get a good idea of the extent of the work done by Jazz Arts Group to promote and celebrate Jazz in the Columbus area. A blog was included to create a living history of Jazz Arts Group and of Jazz in Columbus. Special attention was paid to responsive views and mobile use. The Jazz Art Group’s own logo and branding were maintained throughout.

The fully completed website was used and tested by the team in a development location before it was published. The site has been in full service now for several years and continues to be maintained and supported. The client and their team are able to manage all the day-to-day updates and content on their own. Our team is available to support them as needed and to maintain plugins and platform updates. We recently had a mini discovery session to review and improve the development and giving pages of the site.
